Star Multi Academy Trust has been awarded 175,783 for 2 projects to replace existing light fittings with energy efficient LED lighting at Kirk Fenton Church of England Primary School and Tadcaster Grammar School, both in Tadcaster. Ashford Borough Council has been awarded 1,739,416 to upgrade Stour Leisure Centre, including installing heat pumps and solar panels, upgrading the lighting system to use more energy efficient LED lighting, and installing energy monitoring and controls. Wiltshire Council has been awarded 4,638,099 for 2 projects to decarbonise its buildings. The funding will also deliver the infrastructure for a site-wide water source heat pump, including bore holes, ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps across the historic site. These will contribute to the Councils ambition to reach net zero. Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded 40,356,174 to deliver energy efficiency and heat decarbonisation measures at hospital sites across Goole, Scunthorpe and Grimsby. Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust has been awarded 119,624 to improve the energy efficiency of Alton Community Hospital. Solar panels will be installed on the roofs, and the energy efficiency of the buildings will be improved with LED lighting, energy efficient cooling fans and improvements to cooling systems. In all the buildings, gas boilers will be replaced with air source heat pumps, and LED lighting and energy efficient radiator valves will be installed. These measures will be installed in a wide range of council-owned buildings, including schools, childrens centres, council operating sites and Jarrow pool. Durham County Council has been awarded 1,048,095 for 3 projects. North Shields to North Tyneside General Hospital - Rome2rio Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has been awarded 12,994,144 to deliver various energy efficiency and decarbonisation measures. This will reduce the carbon footprint of the school. Basildon Borough Council has been awarded 635,828 to upgrade the Basildon Centre. Old coal fired boilers will be replaced with air source heat pumps and an ageing uninsulated roof will be replaced with a modern high performance insulated roof.
