Sister Bertha was preceded in death by her parents Sebastian and Hedwig Bumann; her brother Father Joseph Bumann; and her sister-in-law Yolanda Bumann. She also served the congregation as directress of postulants, vicar general of the congregation for eight years, and regional coordinator for eight years. After celebrating 50 years as a religious in Nicaragua, Sister Teresita became a resident of Nazareth Center in Fond duLac in 2001. Having served the congregation as local coordinator of St. Agnes Convent from 1990-1994, Sister Rita retired from formal roles in education. She is survived by her nieces and nephews and the Sisters of St. Agnes, with whom she lived, prayed and ministered. Cremation has taken place. Sister Martha received a BS in Education from Marian College in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and an MA in Elementary Education and Administration from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. In 1998, she moved with the retired sisters from Nazareth Heights to Nazareth Court and Center where she shared actively in the life of the community until shortly before her death. Sister Mary Albert received a BS in Education from Marian College of Fond du Lac, WI, in 1959. The increasing responsibilities throughout his career brought the family to reside in New York, Georgia, Connecticut, California and Texas. In loving Memory - Sisters of St. Francis of the Neumann Communities Sister Clare Marie was appointed to ministry within the congregation, serving as Novice Directress from 1962-1969 and as Secretary General from 1973-1979. Sister Marita was an educator and principal for over 50 years. In 2013 Sister Marie became a resident at Nazareth Court and Center. Gifted with a brilliant mind, an inquisitive spirit, and a heart for the poor, she was unwavering in her determination to remain actively engaged in the life and mission of her CSA community even as her increasing physical limitations made travel and group participation more difficult.
