Fueled by our deep conviction that a lifetime of good health is only achieved through daily practice of healthy lifestyle habits the Institute has provided affordable, quality clinical services and health promotion programs to the public and trained professionals since 1994. Using the best in evidence based preventive medicine and the ancient health and healing practices of Traditional Chinese Medicine the Institute helps hundreds of people each year to stay healthy naturally.

Community engagement is not new for the Institute. We have been involved in this cause in some shape or form for three decades. The Institute has provided dozens of top health organizations with quality health education programs. Each year hundreds of people begin lifelong learning and fitness opportunities through our programs.

People of all ages study Tai Chi to relax, to look and feel younger, and to improve abilities in a wide range of physical activities, memory and concentration. Tai Chi is intended to be an exercise form that you can maintain as a life-long practice. It can be strenuous exercise, or slow, meditative movement. It can be practiced almost anywhere, and can be integrated into almost any lifestyle. People of all ages can use Tai Chi to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.

A study in Lifelong Learning and Health Promotion

The OxfordStudy 2020

The Oxford Study is an ongoing longitudinal study into the effectiveness of health promotion programs in changing behaviors and motivation for people to live active healthy lifestyles.
Originally funded by AARP and supported by the Denver Botanic Gardens the project began as an model health promotion program "Sunrise Tai Chi and Walks in the Gardens." After winning numerous awards we were invited to present the project for debate at the Oxford Roundtable at Harris Manchester College and the Oxford Union Debating Hall at Oxford University.
