Our Classes
"Journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." Lao Tse
1. Take the first step
Come learn why The T'ai Chi Project has been successful in its mission of teaching T'ai Chi to so many. Come try a class and/or schedule a private class. Participation allows you to learn the most ancient part of the preparation for T'ai Chi with a session of active learning. Experience for yourself why T'ai Chi is the world's most popular form of organized physical activity. See our schedule for the times and locations of weekly classes, special workshops. Then call 303.744.7676 and let us know when you are coming.
2. Continue the adventure & Sign up for a trial membership
Learn one of the original T'ai Chi forms - "Long River Boxing." A fun, motivational set of three simple sequences that date to the 13th century. This short form sets the stage for more advanced forms, while providing a complete short form by itself. Learn T'ai Chi principles and skills for avoiding injury. Make a commitment to your health.
3. Expanding your knowledge & Take the T'ai Chi Skills Challenge
Learn the Long Form (180 movements) and the five elements of human performance. Set personalized fitness goals with easy suggestions for daily practice. Our program combines the fascinating history of this ancient art with the most up to-date research on mind and body exercise and its effect on the activities of daily life. We teach you how to do a movement ... and why!!!
4. Continue the legacy & Take the Road to Mastery
With our practical scientific approach, time less wisdom comes to life. To achieve a healthy longevity, you need active experiences to last a lifetime. Advanced students master their skills with scientific updates, special events, practice at exotic locations, seminars with visiting instructors... and you even have an opportunity to show off your skills by joining one of our demonstration teams!
Find out for yourself why T'ai Chi is the world's most popular form of organized physical activity. Be warned! With over 2000 exercises for mind and body, it is going to take you a while to experience it all!
5. Join the Oxford Study
Health issues will be less of a concern with this program, but anyone living a full, active life can still experience "some bumps in the Road to Mastery." The Oxford Study was established to help those who are interested in promoting their health through Eastern approaches, specifically Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM.)
Your participation in the study allows you to receive a free evaluation and treatment in exchange for filling out a VERY short questionnaire.
